Project “COMPASSIONATE CARE”
Ontario District Project No. 2534
For his 2025–2026 Masonic year, the District Deputy Grand Master, R.W. Bro. Michael C. Stephenson has selected Project “COMPASSIONATE CARE” as the Ontario District Project. The goal of this initiative is to raise funds in support of hospice care within our communities.
Funds raised through Ontario District Project No. 2534 will support the following hospices in the Durham and Northumberland Regions:
Ed’s House – Cobourg
Oak Ridges Hospice – Port Perry
Marigold Hospice – Newcastle
Hospice Whitby – Roger Anderson House – Whitby
As Masons, we know that life is a journey — one we strive to walk with honour, humility, and love.
As our Brethren and all our fellow travellers approach the end of that journey, hospice care ensures they do not walk it alone. Hospice care respects dignity, comforts families, and ensures that no one dies in fear, pain, or solitude.
This, Brethren, is relief in its purest form — not merely financial support, but human presence, compassion, and care.
